A Spanish Man Hacked Google Map Traffic

Things like people's Google account and data theft also keep happening. But have you ever thought that Google Maps can be hacked, it had been? A Spanish man has cheated Google Maps with a trick. Artist Simon Weckert has done this through 99 smartphones without any software.

What Did Simon Weckert Do?

Simon deposited 99 smartphones Put all these smartphones in a cart. Turned on Google Maps in all smartphones and started walking on the empty road. After this hacking done as a joke, Google Maps was also claiming an absolutely clear route as heavy traffic. Google started calling this empty road as heavy traffic. After this, Google re-routed the people going through that route.

Google saw the location of all these smartphones in one place and on the maps it started showing that many people are passing through, which means that the traffic there has increased. Some readers will not agree to believe this but we have some proof you guys can see.

How Does Google Maps Work?

In order to give users the right information about traffic, Google takes the data of slow-moving or heavy traffic. Google Maps in India uses red, blue, and yellow colors to convey traffic. Red means a strong jam. Shows yellow for fine movement and blue for a very clear road. Google Maps re-routes many times so that users can quickly and the best route to reach their destination.
